At 46″ it’s not the widest deck available, however it does allow you to mow larger yards pretty quickly and evenly, it even makes short work out of mowing thick grass too, and all without leaving clumps of grass all over the place. And once you’re done mowing, just hook up a hose to the deck wash port to rinse away any clippings and debris. Cleaning this mower couldn’t be any easier.
You also get foot pedal operated hydrostatic transmission which makes the ride you get with this mower every bit as smooth as you can get from mowers costing more than twice as much, whether you are mowing in forward or reverse. The reverse mowing capability is also a great time saver when it comes to mowing in and around any trouble spots and obstacles you may have in your yard.
The high back seat is pretty well padded and gives a decent amount of back support during mowing. You will need to fit the seat to the mower yourself on delivery, it’s easy to do, a bolt and a couple of spacers and you’re done, just make sure it’s securely fitted otherwise it can come loose and start spinning all over the place!
