With the Ariens 915223 IKON-X 52″ Zero Turn Mower you are getting a commercial quality, residential mower that is built around a full tubular steel frame. Imagine driving a tank from your armchair, that’s how strong, powerful and comfortable this thing is.
It’s a tough machine, extremely resistant to stress and is easy to operate and maneuver round obstacles, even if you’ve never used a zero-turn-mower before.
The Ariens IKON-X 52 has a commercial-style 4 1/2” deep, fabricated 52″ cutting deck which allows for maximum airflow when mowing in difficult conditions, plus a 4-point hanging deck suspension feature which ensures a more even cut when mowing on uneven terrain and allows you to easily tackle small hills of up to 15 degree inclines.
The deck sicks out far enough to allow you to clearly see and mow around curves and obstacles a lot easier. It also features 13 different cutting heights ranging from 1½” to 4½”, in quarter-inch increments which are really easily set by depressing the foot lever and turning a dial, giving an outstanding cut leaving your lawn with a highly professional manicured look.
The high-torque 23 hp/726 cc Kawasaki FR V-Twin Engine runs smooth and is super quiet, so you can mow whenever and as often as you like without having to worry about disturbing your neighbors. And, as you would expect from a lawn tractor at this price point, you also get best-in-class power, durability, and reliability.

The Ariens IKON-X 52 is also exceptionally comfortable to use. On the whole we found this Ariens zero turn mower to be one very impressive ride on mower indeed, we just can’t fault it at all. However, having said that, we couldn’t help feeling that at this price point there should at least be a mulching kit included with the machine, but that’s just our opinion.
